goetzpartners advised Afinum 9 with a Commercial Due Diligence on its investment in Hofstetter PCB AG (Hofstetter), the leading European provider of printed circuit boards plating and special final finishing services. Together with its prior investment in GS Swiss, Afinum hereby extends its stronghold in the growing electronic medical device supplier market.

In 2022, Afinum has invested in GS Swiss, a manufacturer of extremely reliable, highly miniaturized printed circuit boards with a market-leading position in the medical industry for small-to-medium volumes. Hofstetter adds crucial technological know-how and hence enforces the position of the group as a leading electronic medical device supplier. Hofstetter and GS Swiss will continue to operate as independent companies within a common group.

This project complements goetzpartners' outstanding track record in providing strategic and commercial advisory services in the space of high-tech industrial applications and specifically chips/ semiconductors and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
