goetzpartners' Private Equity consulting team supported Luxempart S.A. with a Commercial Due Diligence in the acquisition of a minority stake in ASSMANN Holding GmbH ("Assmann"). Assmann is a leading manufacturer of high quality components for the data network technology industry, based in Luedenscheid, Germany.

The Commercial Due Diligence included a comprehensive evaluation of Assmann's business with a particular focus on the company's brand and price positioning. For this purpose, goetzpartners collected an extensive database of ~3,500 available price points. Furthermore, goetzpartners built a bottom-up market model to determine the size of Assmann’s addressed market segments and to evaluate their future growth potential. A thorough assessment of the management’s business plan has been conducted and potential value creation opportunities were developed.

German-based ASSMANN Electronic GmbH as well as nine international subsidiaries operate under the holding company's umbrella.
