Maximilian Bergold is Director in the Frankfurt office of goetzpartners.
During his career, Maximilian Bergold has gained expertise in advising trade buyers as well as private equity firms in both, sell-side as well as buy-side transactions, also including public takeovers and defense mandates. During these projects, he has developed a particular focus on companies in the Industrial Technology and IT Services sectors.
Before joining goetzpartners, he started his professional career in the Investment Banking/ M&A department of German private bank Berenberg and gained further M&A experience in companies such as EY and Santander.
Maximilian Bergold holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, where he also received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. During his studies, he completed a professional training as Bankkaufmann (IHK) at Hessische Landesbank and gained international experience at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
