Vladimir Matias is a Managing director at goetzpartners Emerging Markets.
He has almost 30 years of broad international transaction experience in the energy, mining, infrastructure, industrial and other sectors. He advised many leading energy and industrial companies. Vladimir Matias has in-depth experience in project financing and private equity investments and arranged some of the first project financing transactions in the oil & gas sector in Russia and Ukraine.
Before joining goetzpartners, Vladimir Matias co-founded and developed for 6 years the international company Asset Capital Partners. Prior to that, he was head of HVB Group’s (now UniCredit Bank) Project and Asset Based Financing and Private Equity team in Moscow and worked at HVB Group in Munich for 11 years.
Vladimir Matias studied business law at the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law, and linguistics in Munich. Further, he holds an Executive MBA from the Moscow State University.
