goetzpartners advises CINEBOX on its sale to MERCAPITAL

On July 10th, 2006, the owners of Cinebox, a privately-owned Spanish cinema exhibition company, announced the conclusion of an agreement to sell the company to Mercapital, a financial investor focused on build-up processes. Mercapital already owns Abaco, a Spanish 171-screen cinema exhibition company. With this acquisition, Mercapital creates the largest Spanish cinema exhibition group, with 465 screens. goetzpartners Corporate Finance acted as advisor to Cinebox in this transaction.
