goetzpartners advised a 100% subsidiary of Joachim Herz Foundation with a Commercial Due Diligence on its investment in Weidmüller Holding AG & Co. KG (“WEIDMÜLLER”), a specialist for industrial connectivity solutions. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The Commercial Due Diligence included a detailed analysis of the company’s product portfolio and business model, including an analysis of the company’s ESG efforts. In addition, goetzpartners assessed the size and the growth prospects of WEIDMÜLLER’s addressed core segments. The report also included a detailed analysis of the company’s competitive positioning. Conclusively, the results were used to assess the management's business plan.
