goetzpartners advised TRIGO Group on the acquisition of the automotive quality assurance services activity of BÖLLINGER Group

03. août 2016

France based TRIGO Group, the international provider of operational quality management solutions for manufacturers, has signed an agreement with Franz Böllinger, founder and chairman of the BÖLLINGER Group, to acquire Böllinger’s automotive quality assurance services business.

The transaction marks the latest step in TRIGO’s strategy to continue reinforcing its international footprint, following its acquisitions of North America’s PIC Group and Spain’s Global Q in 2015. Until now its activities in Germany have mainly been in the aerospace industry, with offices in Bremen and Hamburg. By joining forces with Böllinger, TRIGO will be able to provide its German automotive clients with a comprehensive portfolio of quality support services and a network of more than 150 quality professionals covering the whole of the country.

Since 1989, Böllinger has supported major German and international automotive manufacturers with quality services in their assembly factories and along their supply chain, both domestically and on overseas projects. Historically based in Baden-Württemberg, Böllinger has been particularly active with major German Original Equipment Manufacturers, such as Audi, Porsche, Daimler and BMW, as well as their suppliers.
