goetzpartners supports Patrimonium Private Equity in the merger of Hübner Oberflächentechnik GmbH and Kunststofftechnik Bernt GmbH

Patrimonium Private Equity as the majority shareholder merges its‘ Hübner Oberflächentechnik GmbH ("Hübner") with Kunststofftechnik Bernt GmbH ("KTB"). Patrimonium Private Equity will continue to hold the controlling majority in the parent company after the merger. All other existing shareholders will also remain involved. The merger lays the foundation for a powerful alliance that will be an even stronger partner for its customers. The parent company will operate under the new name HübnerKTB and will be headed by the two previous managing directors of KTB, Dr. Lars Wiegmann and Dr. Carsten Brockmann.

The combination of Hübner and KTB will create a powerful new market player that will offer its customers even greater stability and increased flexibility. The newly formed HübnerKTB GmbH will operate in the three strategic business areas of automotive, sanitary and consumer goods. In addition to an increased market share, the bundling of forces will also lead to significantly increase of potential order volumes in the future. The broader technology offering will also enable the Group to provide customers with services that are even better tailored to their specific needs. Furthermore, the merger will lead to a more diversified customer portfolio.
